Job Description: This position serves as administrative support for the pastors and ministry staff at Trinity Church. The qualified candidate will provide necessary clerical support and also serve as the “front door” to Trinity’s visitors and guests. Strong organizational and time-management skills are necessary along with a friendly and welcoming demeanor both on the phone and in-person. Administrative tasks will include basic typing, copying, supply management, calendar oversight, and communication within ministries and to ministry partners as necessary. Digital production tasks include weekly creation of the bulletin, the Take 5 video blog, the Fresh Take video and audio podcast, and the Sunday announcement video. The right candidate for this position will possess skills in basic video editing software usage as well as Adobe Creative Suite.

Additional Information: The Office Admin Assistant reports to the Communications Coordinator who will assign work from other pastors and ministry staff members. This position requires a firm but kind presence in dealing with everyone who enters our doors, no matter the reason. The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with visitors, working in a (frequently) fast-paced office environment, and providing invaluable support to the Trinity ministry staff. They will be open to new opportunities and taking on new challenges as the needs of ministry shift in our community and culture.

Requirements: Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign and Photoshop), and video editing software such as iMovie. Excellent organizational and time-management skills are a must. This position is one of trust and discretion; therefore, the ideal candidate will not only exhibit care and concern for Trinity’s members and visitors but also maintain a sense of professionalism at all times.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Must have reliable transportation and be able to lift approximately 20 pounds.

Working Hours: 9:00am–3:00pm, Monday through Thursday
